 Objectivity is subjective to people’s understanding and judgements

People trying to be the person they see on TV. The person their parents told them to be. The person they thought they should be. Often forgetting the person that they really ARE.

We believe what we see, but we choose to see what we believe for a start.

Wounds will heal no matter how deep it was. A healed wound will leave a scar no matter how long time had past.

There is an outrage in everyone, waiting to be unleashed!

            Have you ever had this feeling that when you are talking about your “life-long ambition”, you can’t even persuade yourself to go into it? Or that it had been years since you last talk or even think about it?

            Dreams, ambitions, they slowly stepped out of our way in life. As we work and slave everyday, our pace becomes insignificant to those of our dreams. They seem to be out of reach of a normal person living in our society. We blame it on the society and we know that it isn’t the cause. Well, who is able to let go of luxuries of the society and enjoy the real life they want to live in?

            We forget our initial dreams, our goal of our lives. Is reality too much for us that we can’t realize our dreams in it? Or is it that we dare not deviate too much from the reality that we know? Is deviation such a taboo?

            Have you ever felt abandoned by the society? Have you ever felt that you were going to break down? Have you felt that you are working on a job you don’t wish to work on? Have you ever felt that everyone is just trying to be the “good guy”? They try to stay honest but desires to commit crimes? They wish to do everything they want, but they fear what the other people says. Well, we all have repressions don’t we?

            Why don’t we quit repressing and just forget altogether. Let’s just treat it that it never happened at all. We never had such an ambition! But look around you and think about it, are all these what you want in life? You have the answer to this don’t you?

            It is true we all live in a society, we have to bear the criticisms of everyone in it. We can either follow the society’s pace or we can opt out of its pace and start setting our own pace. So I say, don’t get lost in the crowd. Don’t make your work a routine. Do what you love or you can love what you do.

            If you choose the other side of the fence and say, “Hey, look at the luxuries I own”. That’s true that you own a lot physically but do you have that spiritual connection with those things you own? If after listening to this doesn’t wake anybody up, then all I have to say is that live the life you want it to be. Be your own idol, and stop following others’ pace.

Can you coax your mind from its wandering and keep to the original oneness?

Can you let your body become supple as a newborn child’s?

Can you cleanse your inner vision until you see nothing but light?

Can love people and lead them without imposing your will?

Can you deal with the most vital matters by letting events take their course?

Can you step back from your own mind and thus understand everything?

Giving birth and nourishing, having without possessing, acting with no expectations, leading and not trying to control: this is the supreme virtue.

We join spokes together in a wheel, but it is the center hole that makes the wagon move.

We shape clay into a pot, it is the emptiness inside that holds whatever we want.

We hammer wood for a house, but it is the inner space that makes it livable.

We work with being, but non-being is what we use.

Colors blind the eye.

Sounds deafen the ear.

Flavors numb the taste.

Thoughts weaken the mind.

Desires wither the heart.

The Master observes the world but trusts his inner vision.

He allows things to come and go.

His heart is open as the sky.

Success is as dangerous as failure.

Hope is as hollow as fear.

What does it mean that success is as dangerous as failure?

Whether you go up the ladder or down it, your position is shaky.

When you stand with your two feet on the ground, you will always keep your balance.

What does it mean that hope is as hollow as fear?

Hope and fear are both phantoms that arise from thinking of the self.

When we don’t see the self as self, what do we have to fear?

See the world as your self.

Have faith in the way things are.

Love the world as your self; then you can care for all things. 

The Master stays behind; that is why she is ahead.

She is detached from all things; that is why she is one with them.

Because she has let go of herself, she is perfectly fulfilled.

The supreme good is like water, which nourishes all things without trying to.

It is content with the low places that people disdain.

             I don’t yearn to disdain other Gods or other beliefs; I just hope that everyone believes in themselves. The meaning of the word religion from the Cambridge Online Dictionary is 1) the belief in and worship of a god or gods, or any such system of belief and worship; or 2) an activity which someone is extremely enthusiastic about and does regularly. The latter explanation is a more informal one, so I will just focus my writing on the first explanation.

            God, usually described as the omnipotent, the perfect supernatural being who oversees the world. But how often have you seen one? Why doesn’t HE look up for humans HIMSELF and try to convert us into HIS religion HIMSELF? Why did he choose to let the people who read HIS book help him to convert us? If HE is so omnipotent, why doesn’t he do it HIMSELF?

            Does God ask you to belief in HIM? If HE is so perfect, would HE need to do it? Would HE need to throw dead people who don’t believe in HIM into hell? And why do those who believe in HIM go to heaven? Does a rapist deserve to go to heaven (as long as he believes in HIM)? Would a being so perfect need to recruit members? HE should be able to draw anyone into HIS religion despite of not asking anybody to.

            Do you belief in yourself? If so, ask yourself what do you consider to be true? Is something that you saw with your own eyes true? Could there be any factors that affected what you have seen? If you do not believe entirely what you see and needs clarification from the first person, is it then stupid to trust a third person’s account on a supernatural being? Ask yourself, who wrote the Bible? If you can’t answer this question or even if you can, ask yourself what I had said above.

            So why don’t we evolve from the past “religion” into a new religion? Why don’t we start treating ourselves as Gods? Why don’t we start respecting our own views rather than listening to a third person? Why must we continue believing in a supernatural being that you can’t feel nor you can’t see? LET’s start believing in the person whom we can feel and touch every moment!
